When asked about his college career, Yuandong Ren opened the valve of memory, slowly talking about that warm and pure time of struggle.

Yuandong Ren is a 2021 e-commerce graduate of the School of Management of CQIE, and is a veritable brilliant "worker of CQIE" in the hearts of teachers and students.

He said the four years of college were a critical time in his life. Under the guidance of his teachers, Ren explored freely, discovered his interests and ideals, actively participated in various activities, gained growth in practice, and lived a fulfilling college career without regrets.

Growing up in practice, young people in the new era must be "always ready"

When he first entered CQIE Yuandong Ren was determined to "cultivate" here, and the word "practice" became his growth path.

In the freshman military training camp, he was praised by the coaches as an "excellent pacesetter"; In the School of Management, he is an "excellent student cadre" who serves teachers and students attentively; In volunteer service activities, he is an "excellent volunteer" who is willing to help others; In the field of various skills, he is a "practitioner" who promotes learning through competition.

For him, every practice is a growth opportunity to cherish. In his four years of university, Yuandong Ren has participated in more than 100 practical activities and won more than 20 honorary titles and municipal and national awards. After precipitating himself in practical activities, he gradually learned the ways and means of communicating with others, mastered the ability to learn independently, and understood the value of perseverance.

"Young people in the new era must always be ready." Yuandong Ren often put on his lips the words that the school teacher taught him.

Soon, in the "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, Yuandong Ren's accumulation came in handy.

In November 2020, he led the team to rush into the national finals of the 12th "Challenge Cup" China College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, sharing the stage with many well-known college players across the country, and achieving a breakthrough in the "Challenge Cup" national competition. Behind the breakthrough, it is inseparable from the hand-to-hand guidance of the school instructor and the meticulous preparation of Ren Far East and its members for 5 months.

During the preparation process, as the project leader, the members of the Ren Far East Organization learned the new knowledge required for the event while working all night to optimize the proposal and PPT. The average sleep time is less than 5 hours a day, and the competition materials have been repeated more than 50 times, and they have persevered all night... It is with this vigor of hard work and specialization that Yuandong Ren and the project members finally achieved gratifying results.

We should forge ahead and innovate ideas while persistently doing so, and let the party building "tide" rise

In Yuandong Ren's life motto, it is mentioned that "glory lies in dullness, and arduousness lies in longness". This sentence is not only Ren’s expectation for his life, but also his guide to action.

Since entering the school, Yuandong Ren has not only ranked among the best in academic performance, but also insisted on serving the party building work of the college. During his tenure as the deputy secretary of the student party branch of the School of Management, he provided a steady stream of new ideas and new ideas for the innovation of the student party building of the college.

In 2019, the "micro-party course" featuring CQIE Management Institute was focused on by major mainstream media and was widely praised and sought after. This is precisely the "hand-in-hand" party member demonstration carried out by Yuandong Ren and the branch members to innovate the idea of party building, and take the lead in the class activity. Today, under the joint exploration of branch members, "micro-party classes into the class" has become a new "brand" of ideological and political education in the college and a "spiritual food" for students.

During the school, Ren also proposed to the college to lead the students to "go out", carry out the practice of rural revitalization and the practice of three rural areas, and use heuristic, interactive and inquiry-based practical activities to improve the enthusiasm and participation of members, so as to make the school's party building work more effective and more emotional.

In addition, Yuandong Ren has also served as the head of the student union and the core member of the "Aliwangwang" party branch secretary studio for more than 10 positions, covering all student work systems of the college. No matter what kind of role, Yuandong Ren can be flexible and changeable, no matter what the job, he can always be persistent and do it well.

Two years after graduation, Ren Far East became a member of the volunteers of the Western Plan from a heavy industry student, and later became a member of the Mingyue Lake International Intelligent Industry Science and Technology Innovation Base, an important heavy-duty platform for hard technology business incubation. He joked that he had achieved the "triple jump" of his life.

Yuandong Ren's university life in CQIE has come to an end, but in the future life journey, "Chongqing Institute of Engineering" is undoubtedly the bright beacon, allowing him to practice his original youth vow with struggle and continue to write a chapter in life.
