Go where there is epidemic, fight it till it perishes. Chongqing has reached the final stage of epidemic prevention and control. More than two weeks have passed since the lockdown. However, in the beautiful campus of Heavy Industry, teaching has not stopped, the campus is still busy, epidemic prevention work is also day and night.

Behind the waves were three rebellious men

At this particular moment, in addition to the medical staff and logistics, there are a lot of "behind-the-scenes workers" that you don't see. Nearly 200 staff members of the school volunteered to be volunteers, including 3 special volunteers. Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, they need to live in the school's health management area and receive voluntary isolation in a single room. During the epidemic period, they can only be managed in the health management area and the hospital in a closed-loop way and "enjoy" different loneliness. They are the three volunteers who take the students out for medical treatment:dean of the School of Continuing Education Teacher Feng Wang,Shiyong Tang teacher from the library and Jinglin Ji teacher from the archives.Small and heavy workers can only through telephone interviews, to understand their daily life.

Interpret responsibility with action

Day or night, rain or shine, they are ready to go whenever a student needs them. Due to the need of epidemic prevention and control, Nanquan Hospital, which is closest to the school, has suspended all external medical treatment. In case of sudden illness, students can only be sent to Huaxi Hospital, Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine or Jieshi Central Health Center. Sometimes a one-way trip can take up to three hours due to road controls. In order to achieve "two-point, one-line, closed-loop management", they stayed in the car for 2 or 3 hours, or more than 4 or 5 hours, with sweat soaking their clothes. During this period, they could not drink or dare to drink water, because they were wearing protective clothes, they could only breathe a sigh of relief after the students' diagnosis and treatment was finished and returned to the health management area of the school.

Education is carried by service

On the way back and forth, they are willing to communicate with students, understand the sick situation of students, inform students of the current severe situation of epidemic prevention and control, medical procedures, precautions and personal protection. Remind students to add clothes to keep warm during school, do a good job in daily activities to protect themselves, prevent and reduce the occurrence of colds and accidental injuries. Look is a simple communication, but like the spring breeze rain, moistening things silently. In recent days, they use the responsibility of "insist on green mountains do not relax", with the "moistening things silently" feelings of education, effectively protect the urgent need of students to go out for medical treatment of sudden illness. They uphold the spirit of "overcome difficulties, selfless dedication", truly practice the school motto of "responsibility, trustworthiness, refinement, innovation", and cast a line of health protection of heavy industry.
