Net News (article Academic Affairs Office Kefeng Jiang) In order to further strengthen the construction and management of undergraduate programs and promote the high-quality development of higher education, the University organized the monitoring and evaluation of undergraduate programs from November 25th to December 7th in accordance with the spirit of the Notice on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Undergraduate Programs in Colleges and Universities issued by Chongqing Education Commission.

This major monitoring and evaluation is the first general undergraduate major monitoring and evaluation conducted by Chongqing Education Commission at the municipal level in order to fully implement the requirements of education evaluation reform in the new era and play the role of "fairness balance", "wind indicator" and "engine" of monitoring and evaluation. The main targets are undergraduate majors with two terms of graduates in ordinary universities (as of August 2022). A total of 15 undergraduate programs in our school participated in the monitoring and evaluation. During this period, the leaders of each major overcame the difficulties of having too many working ideas at the end of the year, overcame the unfavorable conditions of working from home due to the impact of the epidemic, compared 5 first-level indicators, 15 second-level indicators, 42 third-level indicators (36 quantitative indicators, 6 qualitative indicators), such as moral cultivation, student development, teaching staff, teaching resources and professional influence, and carefully sorted out the status quo of major construction. Sort out the achievements of professional construction, organize and carry out professional self-evaluation; The dean of each professional college personally checked and reviewed the college's materials one by one to ensure that the professional monitoring and evaluation data is accurate, the materials are true and the expression is clear.

This professional monitoring and evaluation work is mainly organized by the Academic Affairs Office, and the secondary school is specifically responsible for it. At the same time, it is strongly supported by the Quality Control Office, the Personnel Office and the Recruitment Office. Through professional monitoring and evaluation, we can improve the understanding of the importance of professional construction and find out the gap with first-class majors, which plays an important role in promoting the more profound grasp of specialty characteristics and connotation construction, and will have an important influence on improving the quality of professional construction.
