The meeting was chaired by Chen Wei, Director of Science and Technology Department.

At the meeting, the secondary schools reported on the completion of the discipline research work in 2022, summarized the existing problems in the construction of the discipline research work in this year, and made plans for the discipline research work in 2023. Chen Wei pointed out that despite the combined impact of the epidemic and assessment in 2022, the school has made pioneering achievements such as 42 approved scientific research projects at or above the bureau level (significantly higher than that in 2021), the first publication of high-level academic papers in the first SSCI journals, the first key project of the Education Commission with financial support for humanities and social sciences, and the organization of teachers to participate in high-level academic forums. At the same time, it is proposed that the discipline research work in 2023 will focus on the integration of industry and research and the cooperation between schools and enterprises to improve the funding system and mechanism of scientific research projects, expand the channels for high-level scientific research projects, strengthen the construction of horizontal research project teams, actively carry out academic lectures and conferences, standardize the discipline platform construction and other aspects.

Mingshu Tan pointed out that all units have completed the discipline research work in 2022 well, and achieved good results, bright breakthroughs and thinking plans. In 2023, it is necessary to further strengthen top-level design and clarify the idea of scientific research construction. We should focus on building scientific research teams and focus on supporting points. We should stick to the approach of university-enterprise cooperation, make efforts in applied research, and further improve the level and quality of scientific research construction of our school.
