CQIE Participated in The Training Session of The Ministry of Education on “Construction of Undergraduate Education Quality Monitoring System”

Net news (article/picture Quality Control Office Shulin Zhou) On the morning of February 15, the university organized a training session on “Construction of Undergraduate Education Teaching Quality Monitoring System” in the fourth conference room of the Administration Building. Nearly 100 people attended the training session, including Party Secretary and Supervisor Mingyi Tan, all staff of the Academic Affairs Office and the Teaching Quality Management Office, and leaders of the second-level colleges, heads of academic affairs departments and heads of majors.

The online training session was hosted by Zhi Li, Deputy Director of the Education Quality Assessment Centre of the Ministry of Education. The conference started with a detailed interpretation of the National Report on Teaching Quality Development of Undergraduate Education in General Universities (2021-2022), the 2021 Monitoring Report on Teaching Quality of Universities under Construction of Top Universities and the 2022 Monitoring Report on the Construction of National Applied Undergraduate Universities. Finally, Northeastern University and Sichuan University were invited to share their experiences in data collection and application.

The training was very informative and the experts' reports were very insightful. It was very instructive to do a good job in monitoring the quality of education and teaching in schools, filling in the national data platform, digging deep into the value of data, improving the monitoring and guaranteeing system of teaching quality in schools, realizing the teaching quality guarantee of undergraduate teaching “horizontally to the edge and vertically to the bottom”, and continuously improving and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation in universities.
