Net news (article/picture the College of Electronics and Information Technology Ying Lu) In order to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, promote effective employment of graduates, and implement the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Chongqing Municipal Education Commission on the special action of college secretaries and headmasters to visit enterprises and promote employment, in the afternoon of May 11th, under the leadership of Party Secretary and Supervisor Mingyi Tan and Vice Principal Jiandong Wang, Dean Shibiao He, Secretary of Party General Branch Siyu Tan and Vice President Chengrui Chen of the College of Electronics and Information Technology and a delegation of 11 people went to Chongqing Southwest IC Design Co.

At the seminar, the technical director of the company, Tiancai Wang, firstly expressed a warm welcome to the visiting team, fully affirmed the quality of the university’s talent training, and introduced in detail the company's development history, business areas, technology direction and main products. Jiandong Wang introduced the development history of the university and its philosophy, while Shibiao He introduced the professional settings of the College of Electronics and Information Technology, the characteristic practices of talent training and the cooperation mode between the university and enterprises.

At the meeting, the enterprise representatives made a general statement on the job quality and ability requirements of talents, and fully affirmed the quality of talent training in the College of Electronics and Information Technology. The participants fully communicated and reached a preliminary consensus on various aspects such as school-enterprise cooperation, co-establishment of off-campus practical teaching bases and talent training. In the seminar, our alumni also talked about their work feelings and growth experiences, and thanked the school for training them to adapt to the workplace more quickly.

Finally, Mingyi Tan made a concluding speech. Firstly, he hoped that our graduated alumni would maintain a good spirit, study hard and work conscientiously in the enterprise; secondly, he hoped that both the university and the enterprise would further strengthen their ties and carry out all-round cooperation in future talent training, project cooperation and transformation of knowledge results, etc., so as to make contributions to serving the local economic development together. After the seminar, Minzhu Tan personally awarded the plaque of “Internship and Employment Base” to the enterprise, and then visited various departments of the company under the guidance of Director Tiancai Wang.

The visit broadened the employment channels and added job clusters for the 2022 graduates of our university, while the university leaders visited the graduated students, which encouraged the students and will surely play a great role in promoting fuller and higher quality employment for the 2022 graduates.
