Our University Undertakes the Chengdu-Chongqing University Physics Experiment Virtual Teaching and Research Department Course Ideological and Political Symposium

Net news（article / picture Shuangqiao Campus Tonghui Zhou）The first special seminar on ideological and political courses in 2022 of the Virtual Teaching and Research Department of Physics Experiment of Chengdu-Chongqing University was held online on April 13th. The conference was hosted by the Virtual Department of Physics Experiments of Chengdu-Chongqing Regional University, hosted by Chongqing Institute of Technology, and co-organized by Chongqing University, Southwest University, Southwest University of Science and Technology and Chengdu Neusoft College.

This seminar adopts the method of "small-scale discussion + medium-range exchange + large-scale onlooking" to share the ideological and political scheme of the university physics experimental course and the same course heterogeneity of the course ideology and politics. Professor Tao Wang of Chongqing University, Professor Kai Sun of Southwest University, Shiguo Chen, associate professor of Chongqing Institute of Technology, Tingting Ma, teacher of Southwest University of Science and Technology, and Tengzhi Liu, teacher of Chongqing Institute of Technology, gave reports on the ideological and political aspects of the university physics experimental course at the meeting. The discussion was chaired by Nan Zhang, assistant dean of the School of General Studies, Chongqing University of Technology.

The meeting was first reported by Shiguo Chen, who explained Mr. Chen's understanding of the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into the classroom with the practice of ideological and political construction of the "Material, Chemical, Biological" course - taking "Length Measurement and Data Processing" as an example. Tao Wang, with the title of "A Preliminary Study on the Ideological and Political Program of University Physics Experimental Immersion All-round Course", introduced in detail the exploration of Chongqing University in the ideological and political construction of the curriculum, and expounded the ways and methods of integrating ideological and political elements into each experimental teaching link, so as to subtly enable students to enhance their classroom participation, sense of knowledge acquisition and sense of identification with this course. Tingting Ma gave a speech entitled "A Little Thinking on Ideological and Political Studies in University Physics Experimental Courses", and introduced to the teachers her understanding of curriculum ideological and political studies, the collection of ideological and political materials, and the achievements of Southwest University of Science and Technology in the ideological and political construction of the curriculum. Finally, Kai Sun, Tingting Ma and Tengzhi Liu took the experiment of "Yang's modulus determination of materials" as an example to describe how in the experimental teaching activities of the university, through the design of teaching links, what teaching methods and means are adopted, and the rational use of ideological and political materials to achieve the goal of cultivating students' quality and literacy. Through this link, the heterogeneous learning exchange of ideological and political courses in different colleges and universities was completed.

The ideological and political symposium of this course attracted nearly 1,000 teachers from colleges and universities in Chengdu-Chongqing region, southwest China and even provinces across the country to participate and have heated discussions. In the mutual exchanges and discussions, the teachers inspired each other to find better ways to integrate ideological and political elements into the physics experimental classroom and more up-to-date curriculum ideological and political materials.
